Beginning with sheet steel, the silhouettes of a Pine Tree and Pinecone are alternated in the design that goes around the lampshade. The metal has been shaped into an octagon shape and after it has been fully oxidized, it is treated with a special finish that brings out the beauty of the oxidation of the metal resulting in a unique rust patina. The end product is a unique rustic look found from centuries past. The back of the silhouettes are covered with genuine mica that gives the lighting a unique glow adding to the beauty of the room. The lampshade measures 17 inches wide at the bottom x 12 inches tall x 8 inches wide at the top and are suitable to a tall table lamp. However, they are heavy shades, so a heavy based lamp or a hanging light kit is recommended. Fully made in the USA, these lampshades are made by hand to your order - please allow at least 4 weeks for the production process and shipment.
